Stay hydrated!

  • 8, 8 oz. glasses per day is a challenging goal.
Logically speaking, if each day has 24 hours, 1/3 of the day or 8 hours is invested as sleeping. Therefore we have 16 hours left to hydrate. Shoot for 4 oz. of water per hour. Keep a tea cup of water by your side and start sipping. GET IT?  Stay Hydrated!!! Remember: Your body needs roughly 1/2 cup or 4 oz. of water per hour.

    •  If you have missed two hours, drink 1 cup or 8 oz.

    •  If you have missed four hours, drink 2 cups or 16 oz.

Water for Thought:

  •  Have you ever noticed when you are dehydrated, you can not think straight.? So it makes sense that staying well-hydrated will keep you in balance and empower your decision-making process.

  • You are continuously losing water as you breathe, sweat and visit the restroom, so you simply must replenish.

  • As your body burns fatty acids, toxic by-products of fat oxidation are transported in the bloodstream and flushed then out.

  •  You will notice, over time, as you drink more water, your body will become leaner with less visible cellulite because you will be flushing more toxins out of your body, preventing them from getting trapped in fatty tissue.

  • Dehydration is the most common trigger for food cravings. Most folks walk around all day long, completely dehydrated! They know they are craving something, but can't seem to put their finger on it.

  • Your body is roughly 75% water. If this is the only habit you focus on, you will notice a great surge in energy because you will stop overdosing on carbohydrates, which zap your energy.

  •  Water is classified as a nutrient. It is an essential medium for metabolic reactions. Staying hydrated will assist your body's metabolic processes in becoming more efficient.
  •  I keep either a mason jar or a tea cup filled to the brim with clean, fresh water by my side! It stays within reach all day long. I also keep a lid on it to keep the dust particles out :>"!

  •  Occasionally, I drip Flower Remedies into my water, to manage emotions.

  •  If you are an athlete or exercise intensely, drink before, during and after workouts. Athletes can weigh themselves before the physical activity, and replenish with water until they weigh the same weight after the workout.

  •  Stop drinking water a few hours before bedtime to prevent midnight trips to the bathroom :>O

Now, get up and go get a drink of water :>D
